Other ingredients in this are purified water, propylene glycol USP and cetyl alcohol NF. Monobenzone is a skin lightening agent and this ingredient helps to lighten the skin around the affected areas of the skin.
When should you not use monobenzone?
- This cream strictly meant for vitiligo only and using this cream for skin lightening is prohibited. You cannot and should not use whitening cream for face.
- It cannot be used in case of sun spots, freckles, rashes or other skin diseases. It is designed only for this treatment.
- Pregnant women should be careful regarding use of this cream. Consult with your doctor if this cream, like many other drugs can pass on to the breast milk and affect the child.
